About the role:

You will be responsible for working collaboratively with the Home Manager to manage occupancy at the Home. You will achieve this through:

  • Building positive relationships with potential residents and their families, health professionals and referral partners to build trust and confidence and ensure a clear understanding of the Home’s Features and Benefits
  • Overseeing general presentation of the home, ensuring that the Home is well presented and welcoming for residents and visitors from the moment they arrive
  • Responding to enquires (direct or via Calvary Assist) and nurturing these relationships to the point where they choose to come to our Home
  • Setting up vacant rooms as “display” rooms so they are welcoming and ready to be shown to potential residents and their families
  • Preparing for tours and hosting tours of the Home with potential residents and/or their families and representatives
  • Explaining the fees, charges and Resident Agreement requirements, holding discussions as to the options for this resident, preparing quote and resident Agreement (in conjunction with the Home Manager)
  • Using the company system (at Present Resident Select) to keep all information as to the status of each opportunity up to date and notes are clear and complete
  • Handover all information gathered during the discussion process to the clinical team to support a welcoming and positive admissions experience for the new resident
  • Completing all relevant contract compliance documentation and adhering to policies to admit new residents into care
  • Influencing potential resident choice by passionately conveying our Calvary mission, values and matching their needs to our services

About you:  You will be able to

  • Show your experience in a residential aged care admissions, administration, or marketing support role. 
  • Understand the Aged Care Sector's guidelines and legislation Previous experience working in nursing, aged care, community or hospital setting, desirable. 
  • Think creatively and thrive on helping people solve their challenges and exceeding customer expectations. 
  • Communicate with empathy to people from various backgrounds and build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Driver’s license.
